“FedEx Fatherhood”

John Smoot, Retired, Boston’s Probate and Family Court

John Smoot

Commercialized sale of human sperm and eggs (gametes) is a multi-billion dollar unregulated industry. With money as the biggest incentive for participation, “donors” create children they will never parent. The process degrades and objectifies men and women, promotes a culture of irresponsible parenting and establishes children as commodities. What you should know about it and why you should care?

The Leadership Forum was established twelve years ago by a group of downtown Boston professionals as a way to encourage men to live unity of life, integrating their faith into their professional, family and social lives.

The Leadership Forum takes its inspiration from the documents of the Second Vatican Council and from the writings of Popes Benedict XVI and John Paul II and of St. Josemaria Escriva, the Founder of Opus Dei. This talk is the first of the Leadership Forum’s twelfth season. To learn more, please visit our website:
